to the Applied Plasma Technology Laboratory (APTL) of Old Dominion University. APTL was established by Dr. Mounir Laroussi in 1998. The main research emphasis at APTL is the generation of non-thermal atmospheric pressure plasmas and their applications. Multidisciplinary research is conducted to cover various applied aspects of plasmas including material processing and biomedical applications.
